I’m a country girl, living in a huge city, with a possible light at the end of the tunnel. Mystery and I are having so much fun together. Farm work is tough. I realize now what it’s like. Up super early and work until lunch, take a lunch break and then work until about 5. Come home take a nap, wake up eat dinner, and then go back out at crazy times…..like midnight to 2 to work. It really depends on the crops. I hope I got some great photos of the combine’s working in one field harvesting Barley for Coors. The combine is such a huge machine. From the drivers seat in the middle of the cab, the “head” is the part that cuts the stalks of grain down. The head is 15 feet long on either side of where the driver sits. A HUGE ASS machine. It was too wet after a sample cutting, and putting the grain into a little machine that tells you how much moisture you have in the grain. I think about 99% of farming revolves around weather. Dew point, humidity, rain, heat etc. If that doesn’t get you, weeds or bugs might. It’s a huge gamble. The gamble is paying off for Mystery this year in a big way with is hay, oats and barley fields. The big HUGE bales that way a ton???? There are almost 200 in one field and it’s a pretty small field. It’s amazing the amount of production. He has 300 tons of hay already sold. Cool!

I have to go to work. I will try to post later today. I have a super slow day today. My motorcycle quit on me the other day. That is a story in itself, but I need to work on that today too. It might be a fuse, but I don’t know where the fuses are on that bike, so I have to check it all out.

Trying to get to know someone is very time consuming, but in a great way. I have been spending a lot of time with Mystery. Mystery is a great guy! I feel so lucky that he found me on Match.com Really Lucky! To me it’s perfect! So far, I haven’t really seen any red flags. Trust me, I dissect any man who I’m interested in.

Mystery got his nickname because I don’t want to have his name is the public eye. That would be up to him. He says he doesn’t read my blog, and if that’s the case (which ….honestly I believe him) I feel lucky. I love the freedom it gives me. I have had two discussions about this very subject. I told him some of the things I have said or have done in my past could be hurtful for him to read about. He gave me permission to write about him and have my freedom still. I LOVE THAT!  He became Mystery to sort of match him. Hard to explain when you abide by his wishes to keep anonymous.

Sturgis was great with him. I think he kept me away from the seedy stuff that’s there. Fine with me. He was so sweet to me, as usual. He loves cooking for me and takes care of my every wish as best he can. He wants my dreams to come true. He qualifies in many ways for me. Ranching some, farming, he cooks for me, is totally respectful, and still opens doors for me, is trustworthy so far and is totally hot to me. I find him so attractive. Mmmmm! MMMM!

This weekend we farmed a lot. I learned so much, I had to probably delete files in my brain to take it all in. I just hope it deletes bad memory files. I got myself into a couple of pickles. Once I was driving a big Dodge pickup pulling tons of hay behind me on a trailer. I took a wrong turn in a field where I got myself into a pickle. There are these deep wheel tracks that the sprinkler makes. I was not in a good spot. I got over a couple and then I became stuck. He saw me and came to push me out with the tractor he was driving this day. His job is picking up bales of hay with this tool that you attach to the front that has spikes. The spikes poke into the bales and the tractor can carry up to 2 bales, well over half a ton. Here is what the attachment looks like from the side.

I got to practice some archery yesterday. Loved that. I did much better than Mystery. I had quite a few more arrows to play with too. Got a great bruise from not holding my bow correctly. Ouch! Then Mystery and I replaced brakes on his truck. I loved doing that too.

I learned about stacking, where NOT to be, and how to be more careful with a trailer. I also learned about raking with a cool machine, that is so fun to watch.  Here is a link with a raking machine pulled behind the tractor.

I love being in the Valley. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and Mt. Blanca as the view you can’t miss. I hate driving back to Denver. It’s pretty tough. I really want to be there. Mystery needs my help. His son is almost 17 and not that into the whole farming/ranching thing. I don’t know if that will change, but he has to really get on his son to help him out in the fields. His father is somewhat helpful, but he has really made Mystery that over 95% of the work. There is almost always something to do until all the crops are in and Winter comes.

I better get going to work. There is hair to cut today.

My New Dream Bike "Hayabusa"

I am having trouble finding time to write. I have been busy at work, and I have 2 photo shoots coming up. Paid even!!!! Sweet!

Yesterday was Mystery’s birthday. I took him out to the Melting Pot, and gave him some nice gifts. I bought him a gift card to Rocky Mtn. Harley Davidson. I also gave him a new Auto Darkening Welding Helmet, so he can continue to build bikes and have a better helmet. The last thing I got him was a Thumb saver for the ATV he has. Those are life savers for long rides on an ATV. If you’ve ever been on an ATV for over and hour your thumb can feel like it wants to fall off. This is just a little extender that makes you use the palm of your hand, more than the thumb.

I think he enjoyed the evening. I hope so? I don’t know what he thought of dinner, but he ate everything. We had fun with the dark chocolate!!!!

Honestly………I haven’t had a guy in my bed in ages. I was trying to think of how long it’s been. If I can’t remember????? It’s been a very long time. That’s why I couldn’t sleep. Someone is in my space, and I’m sooooooooo not used to that.

I didn’t sleep the night before because my daughters boyfriend came into town to visit, and I am sort of on duty when he’s here. It just makes me uneasy.

I hope to sleep in the ride up since we are not on the bike and are trailering them up to Sturgis. It’s the sissy way out, but we will be 100% refreshed when we arrive compared to riding hundreds of miles up there and then trying to enjoy the evening. I just hope I enjoy SOME of the rally. I would hate to hate my time up there. I’m way more excited to go to Crazy Horse and have a nice ride back to Denver on the bike.

Wish me luck once again. I would hate to be a party pooper. I usually have fun no matter what in my life.

Never in my life would I have gone up there without someone like Mystery asking me. Even his friend was working on me.

Mystery wants me to go with him, so I’ve set my attitude aside for the time being, and I guess I’ll go and see what it’s all about. I’ve heard gross stories, and seen photos, and it just isn’t me. I’ll go for him basically and the ride. I love his bike! Comfortable and beautiful! He’s a great safe driver too. Not crazy like I am. Bonus!

We will leave tomorrow, but not until we celebrate his birthday today. He will turn 43 today. Good thing he is younger than me, so he can keep up, or keep it up…… I should say.

I find Mystery 150% sexy as hell! He says the sweetest things to me. I feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world. I hope I have found what I’ve been waiting for all my life. A great guy who treats me with respect, love, tenderness, has many things in common with me, and is freakin hot as hell!

I’m taking him to a nice dinner tonight and I will tell you later what I will be getting him……just in case he has found my blog by now.

I don’t think he has though. He hasn’t mentioned it anyway, or mentioned something that only my blog has information about.

He knows a rancher down in the Valley that I’ve worked with before doing my photo thing. His name is Jerry. Jerry knows me somewhat and I figured when they ran into each other Mystery could ask him some questions about me. Jerry put in a good word for me and bragged about my photo skills. Nice! Thanks Jerry!

The Bug’s boyfriend flew into town yesterday and I took them out to dinner last night to Carl’s Pizzeria. Mmmm! So good. The Bug and I go there about once a week. Pepperoni and extra garlic. Yum! Greg loves the pizza and so do I. He is such a great guy. My family loves him and my nephew seems to adore him. I’m happy that the Bug is happy. He will be here until next Wednesday and then she will leave next Wednesday with him to fly back to Texas to stay a week there.

I’ll take lots of pictures at Sturgis. I hope I don’t get too grossed out by it. I hope I have fun. We plan on staying for a day or so and then taking a bike tour to see Mount Rushmore, and my favorite Crazy Horse Monument.

I got to drive a tractor for the first time in my life. I’ve only sat in them before. I got to park it! I wa so scared that I would make it go crazy that I barely was moving, but it still counted.

Mystery and I went on a long motorcycle ride over Wolf Creek Pass into Pagosa, over to Chama, and then back to the valley. Perfect day for a ride too. His bike is soooo sweet! I put a scuff on it though and it makes me sick to think about. He said he could buff it out. I felt so bad about that. He even wore his helmet for me. He isn’t a helmet user though. He told me he would make a better effort to do so.

I love motorcycles so much, and not only do I find a guy who is a rancher and farmer, but a guy who loves bikes like me too. I can tell he’s been riding a longer time than me though. I can’t wait to work on bikes with him.

I went out with him to go disk a field around the Barley. Disking is like a big weeder. It digs up all the weeds that live around the field. They need to do that, so when they harvest it’s easy to get the Combine out of the field……but I’m sure there are more reasons than that. If there are Prairie Dog holes it could really hurt the machine.

I learned about Oats a bit. They have a “milky stage” right before they get ready to harvest. They even look tasty to me.

The Barley is turning gold, which it does before harvest. I got some great photos of his Dad working out in the field there. I love them. Mystery loves the too! Sweet!

I found a new bird to look up in my bird book. It’s a wader bird. It wades in shallow water. In this case it was out in a field. They are called a Glossy Ibis. Their flight patter is so cool. They have a tiny, tiny strip of Colorado that they travel through. Tiny! It just so happens that the farm is on their map.

Dang! My time is up. I’m so busy at work this week, that I have to get out the door. I hope to write more later. Check back for more.

I’m so thankful it’s Friday because I only have one more day before I get to go see Mystery. I’m going to travel to see him this week. I love where he lives in the San Luis Valley.

Mmmmm! Yummy!

Man Oh Man!  I find him totally sexy and MMmmmmm so Yummy!!!!!!! He is so sweet to me. This weekend I will be cooked for and will be well taken care of. NO MAN has really offered to do the things he has for me. Long ago, I’ve had breakfast in bed once…..which is a great story in itself, but I told Mystery that men in the kitchen just do something for me. He could have anything he wants by that relatively simple gesture. Maybe it turns me on so much because I’m from a family of all women and I never saw my Dad cook a thing……ever!

The only reason I sit at the food bar in Carrabba’s is to watch the men cook. I really can’t explain too well in words what it does to me, but it does wake up the left hand quite a bit. I find it a total turn to watch. The problem is, I don’t know how I’ll keep my hands off of him and let him cook. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Mystery is really special to me. Really special. It was love at first site for me. Not only does he have this incredible look but he does almost all the things I love. Builds motorcycles, (I LOVE motorcycles) He farms…..I love that…….and it even gives me a stiffy. And for me the icing on the cake is he also ranches. I’ve died and gone to heaven.

Just living to me is heaven every day. I don’t really believe in heaven and hell, so I choose this life to live in heaven on a daily basis. Until someone can convince me otherwise., I’m going with my brain.

Religion is a whole different thing. I won’t go there.

The very best part about Mystery, is that he seems to like me. This is our 3rd week and I so respect him for not jumping down my pants. I have to admit though, I tried to convince him that the Ferrari would have been a cool place to make love the first time. How cool would that be? Really cool!!!

He might head to Sturgis next week. I’m not a Sturgis kind of girl. I think it’s rather a skanky rally. Lots of motorcycle gangs and just about anything you can imagine that bikers guys would enjoy is there. It’s one of those things that I don’t really share with him. I could really care a less if I ever go to one. He might talk me into it someday, but it’s just not me.

Sure, I like Harley’s but I think they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo over priced, and just for a name. People who ride sport bikes call Harley riders Oil Drippers, and Harley people call them Rice Burners.

Yesterday I finally got the sissy bar and luggage rack off my bike. It was quite the chore to do. My pop ended up helping me. I got burned on my muffler while I was working on it. Good ol’ Beautifying Oil to the rescue. That stuff is great and takes the burn away plus leaves it where it won’t blister too bad.

I can’t wait for tomorrow. I never thought I would wish time away so much. What a long week not being able to see him. Torture!

Yep, I know I’m in love already. I know it’s only been 3 weeks, but I can still fall in love, can’t I?

I had to post his photo. Geez, I have it bad.

I remember when I was seeing the guy up in Sheridan, and the rude comments he would make in my presence, and then I look at Mystery and it’s a whole different ball game. Sheridan was fun, but not a good guy for me. I loved where he lived and his ranch and the work, but not a good match. I remember telling the Sheridan guy that I wanted him to be my superman. He said he hated him. How could you hate superman?

I think he never could have been my superman. Mystery wants to be my Superman. He wants me in his life in a big way it seems, by what he tells me anyway.

God! I can’t wait to see him. Come on Saturday afternoon. After work Saturday……I’m on my way!

There is a huge 2 story house being built next to me and once someone moves in, my days are over. I really enjoyed the years I’ve been able to do that though. My little hideout. It was a nice peaceful day.

My tragus is getting infected from the motorcycle helmet. The pressure it puts on it is enough to cause a problem. I’ve been cleaning it quite a few times a day. It doesn’t seem to be helping, or maybe it would be way worse if I wasn’t…I don’t know. I wanted to ride yesterday so bad, but I didn’t, only because of my ear though. I need it to heal up quickly!

I really miss Mystery. I love his touch so much. He gives me chills. He’s a great kisser! I feel like I’m out of practice though. I am so blown away that he found me. I really was doubting what Match could do. I had been on there so long and finally he finds me. I wasn’t expecting him. I wasn’t expecting anyone that qualified to qualify this well. The things we share are so cool. I can’t stop thinking about him. We just instantly clicked too. Our first date was great! My kind of date too. Rodeo, food and a walk. Perfect!

His birthday is coming up and I’m not sure what to get him. He told me he was a special welding helmet, so I might pick one up for him. I need more ideas though. He will only be 43. He’s a young one. Funny how I’m more attracted to older men, but the younger ones seem to work better for me. I dated a great guy that was 7 years younger than me. That was Secret Agent Man (if you remember him from my writing) he works for the Dept. of Homeland Defense. He was a great guy. Ended up moving away and that killed that one.

I might head down to Mystery’s this weekend. I have to see him again.

I just hope work is busy this week. The last two weeks have killed me. It’s been WAY slow. I hate it!

So far I can still express myself without Mystery (his code name) reading about any of this. He is not good with computers so even though I gave him 3 of my business postcards, he still didn’t see my website. I love writing about him. I have written more about him, but I haven’t published it.

I’m so glad he found me!!!!!! I just love to stare at him. He is so good looking to me. Lordy! I’m a mess! I already can’t stand being away from him.

He opens car doors, says the sweetest most lovely things to me and makes me blush, helps with a hand up when we were hiking, worked on my motorcycle today for me, likes Shelby, has great kids, is built perfect for me, got me in an amazing ride in a Ferrari 360 Spider.

This car gives me a total stiffy! Mystery has a Marine Corp friend that gets to babysit the Ferrari. I LOVED the ride I got. The sound of the car was almost as nice as the ride. An attention getter for sure. I even read somewhere about it…..that you have to watch out for other drivers getting distracted by the car and wrecking. It’s about a $220,000  car with the extras that he had. I checked. The paddle shifter would be so fun try, but the ride alone was so cool!

Yep, Mystery is already amazing me. He ended up working on my motorcycle for some time. He tightened the chain, and tried to work on my exhaust a bit, but that was useless. It’s a bit loose and can’t be fixed, but it was driving him crazy, not being able to fix it.

He invited me to Sturgis this year. He wants me to go with him. I don’t quite know about the whole thing, and what I’ve heard I really don’t think I would really enjoy it, but I might give it a shot. I’ll learn a lot about Mystery if I happen to go.

There have been so many things that happened this past week. Shelby went with me to get my Tragus pierced. I tell you what! That freakin hurts like hell to get that pierced. Ouch! I have always wanted this piercing since about the 80’s. The Tragus is that little flap of cartilage that you would push on the plug your ears. Mine is thick too! Ouch! Like a Mother!

I think I will be heading down to the Valley this coming weekend to spend time with him. I hope I can help him work somehow. I like being productive.

I am 100% smitten and can’t believe this is happening to me. I can in a way, since this is MY YEAR!

He is very male. Mmm, I love that. Very Marine like is some ways and oh so tender in other ways. We are like two high school kids right now. I can’t keep my hands off of him and he might even be worse. I am sooooooooooooo having fun.

I like that Mystery is really dominant. I myself like that quality in a male. I don’t mind that at all. In fact it gives me a stiffy. He is old fashioned and I am too.

He even said he wants to get to know me a bit better before he sleeps with me????? Where did this guy come from???  I’ve always been used by men, but Mystery seems different. He really listens to me and remembers everything I say too. Wow!  Extremely attentive, and I love that. We both are just crazy about each other and I can’t wait to see him again.

I wish I could already plan my escape from Denver, but that is where my logical side comes in and says I need to get to know him better too. I can’t help but day dream about it though. He is helping me with that too. He talks about us being together for a long time. I hope we are! All my chips are in on this one. I will risk it all for the sake of love.  : )

After the last few men in my life, I’m pretty gun shy. It sucks to say that the crappy men in my life have shaped me almost as much as my first years of life. Doesn’t that suck? I think so! I really have learned from every relationship I’ve had. Even with the last one I had. I know my limits and I really know what I’m looking for. I’ve been accused of looking for “perfect” before. I guess in a way I am looking for perfect for me.

Trust me, we all have out moments. I just know how I want to be treated. Like my friend Sammy said…..I should write the book on, “How NOT to Marry an Asshole”

I get a great feeling from “Mystery” He makes me feel like I’m the only one on Earth. I felt totally comfortable with him. Totally! I really didn’t think about that until I wrote it. Hmmm…….I love that feeling. The only time he makes me feel even a bit uneasy is when he gives me compliments. He is great at that! I can tell he digs me.

I love that I have lost weight. It gives me more confidence. Not that I really lacked that too much, but it helped boost it in a healthy way. I feel good about myself. I have a better figure, but I could still lose a few more. I’ve been walking so much. Even today we went on a hike up to some falls that were so cool.

I think Mystery  is so cute. He’s Hispanic, and is dark skinned with black hair. He was a Marine, and was telling me today about living in the jungle in the Philippines for a month with nothing but a bayonet. That just gives me a stiffy right there. I love his nose though. One of my most wonderful friends ever had the same nose. I loved her nose.

She had told me a story about how it came to look the way it did.

She had sucked her thumb for 13 years. When she sucked her thumb she would place her index finger over the bridge of her nose and it bent her cartilage enough to make it look so cool. She only stopped sucking her thumb at 13 because broke her right thumb and she tried to suck the left thumb and it didn’t work. That is the only way she stopped.

Cool story huh? True! Just like all the rest of my weird stories.

So anyway…Mystery has the same nose. I love it.

I love when a guy can pretty much just swallow me up with his arms. He’s like that. I love kissing him and getting the reaction I do too. Awesome!

I hung out with his son today too. What a great kid. He is 16 and seems very sweet, from what I can tell. We all went on the hike to the falls. He kicked my butt getting up there too. I had to rest a couple of times. It was so freakin hot. Once we got to the falls it was just so nice. The water is glacial run off, and crystal clear. It felt sort of tourist trap to me.

Mystery had been telling me when he was a kid they would go up there on a super rough 4 wheel drive road. They would fish the stream back then. Now there are now fish. The rock formations were great.
