I worked some today, but I ended up at the Stock Show. I wanted to meet the Troyer’s, and I got that taken care of. I met 3 of the family members down there. The horses were incredible! I loved seeing so many draft horses all in one place. I took several photos and then ended up having trouble with some of them downloading. I ended up just dumping all of them in the trash. I was not happy about that! It was really neat seeing one of my favorite artists down there painting some buffalo. Those were my favorite photos I took. She knows me but didn’t see my walking up. I walked past her and came back behind her to photograph her painting. I loved her boots. Both had the heals bust out of them. I never see boots worn like that. Her name is Susan Bell. She is awesome!!!!! I’m actually buying one of her buffalo paintings. I wanted to send them to her in an email as a surprise. She is so interesting to me.

I also watched the stock dog auctions. Those dogs are worth their weight and then some. Their speed and quick thinking is key to how they work with cattle.

I had lots of fun down there!
